Jeez, there are so few posts on this blog. Well, time to correct that.
A few weeks ago, a few of us got together and tried some chocolate with pop rocks in it by Chuau. We have tried this company before, and discovered that the chocolate is one of the best in terms of quality. This one was no exception. The chocolate was exceptional. What an odd thing though. It was weird to have little explosions in the mouth as the chocolate melted. Then came the heat of chili peppers with increasing explosions. Trippy. I liked it, even though it was an odd experience. Rocky seemed a little freaked out with both the pop rocks and the chili peppers. I had forgotten how powerful those little pop rocks are, and they were loud too! DJ Pecas got one of those suckers to pop right into the mic. POW! In conclusion, most of us liked it and would recommend it, even though Rocky got a little weirded out by the whole experience.
Other than that, not much new to report. I forgot to bring chocolate last Saturday. Actually, I lost the chocolate I was going to bring. I still can’t find the little individually wrapped Italian chocolates I got from the Peppercorn. No idea where they could be. If I can’t find them, I will have to buy something else for this Saturday.
Don’t forget to tune in Thursday right after Mr. Anonymous to hear some interesting new tunes from bands like Swim Club, Apples in Stereo, Plan B, Western States Motel and the Slew. Of course, there will be some of my all time favorites on the play list as well.
Everybody get yourselves ready for the holidaze, because I have a feeling GLR is going to shake things up a bit. We have a phone line and can take requests! Now it’s time for some fun. Be sure to check out the Saturday line up, because, from morning to night, there’s always something interesting and maybe even a little crazy on the air.
