Wow! Too much is one of the tracks off Sims’ new album, Bad Times Zoo. I immediately loved it and was drawn in completely. Interestingly, Sims is from Minnesota, a place surprisingly filled with musical talent but often ignored. With rapid fire lyrics contrasted with a slower tempo, Too Much comes off as completely bad-ass while still listenable. One can definitely hear the R&B influence in this piece. Sims has managed to sound innovative and interesting in a genre where that is no easy task. Though he tends to focus on general discontent and empty feelings, his music is anything but. It’s something for the masses, and rich or poor, everyone can relate. I highly recommend listening to the entire album.
